Volunteers Our Volunteers
Even though this is not a complete list of our volunteers, you can see that
we represent a variety of races, religions, cultures, and backgrounds. It
doesn't matter where you come from or who you are, all volunteers are
welcome!
*Our loyal volunteers are added to this page when they have completed 100
hours of service as a volunteer with Angels Of Destiny.
Bob
Bob's favorite color is blue. He's a people person, after one visit with Bob
you'll agree, he's also a Vietnam Vet.. He loves to visit ill people in the
hospital and pray for them. He loves children and is an amateur
photographer. He also likes computers, ceramics, painting, music and playing
his guitar. The following is his favorite scripture. Let your conduct be
without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He
Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. ”Hebrews 13:5
Birthday April 11th
Chad
Chad is our beloved webmaster. This young man can work magic, what a
blessing he is! Chad has 25 years experience in computer service, including
web hosting, repair and web design. When it comes to computers there's
nothing Chad can't do. He's also single! Birthday May 3rd
Dianne
Dianne was a long time volunteer of Angels Of Destiny. Her angels were
beautifully done, with attention paid to every detail. Dianne suffered with
several illnesses and physical disabilities. Although she was in pain most
of the time, she devoted many hours of service to this organization. Dianne
will truly be missed.
Jan
 Jan is married to Bob for 37 years. They have 1 son Daniel & 2 spoiled
Papillons, Duchess & Missie. They attend Church On The Rock North where Jan
sings on the Praise Team. Jan & Bob oversee "Hearts Of Mercy Hospital
Ministry".
Jan has a double major in Nursing & Art, her hobbies are cake decorating,
reading, crosstitch & interior decorating. Favorite color is purple. Jan
also serve on the board of AOD as Ssecretary. Favorite Scripture is 2
Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any one be in Christ he is a new creation
behold all things become new.
Birthday September 28th
Jana
 Jana is married to Eulalio for 12 years. They have 3 children, Debbie,
Sierra & David. They attend Church On The Rock North, where Jana oversee the
"Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Blanket Ministry". A memory blanket is made for
parents who lost a newborn, the child's hands and footprints are stamped to
the blanket along with it's name. Jana's favorite color is lavender. Her
hobbies are painting, crafts & writing. Favorite scripture is Philippians
1:21. For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Birthday March 24th
June
June (also known as "Mom") has two sons and four grandchildren. She is a
cancer survivor. This lady spends a lot of her time as a volunteer at
Lifeshare Blood Center, and as a volunteer with the Angels Of Destiny. June
never meets a stranger and makes friends very easily. Her hobbies include
reading and arts and crafts. She is a wonderful cook, and does plenty of
baking and cooking for friends and family. She feeds us well at our monthly
workdays. She is a member of Church On The Rock North.
Birthday September 20th
Linda
 Linda is the founder of Angels Of Destiny. Many people know her as "The
Angel Lady". Linda works, diligently, to keep the angels going out to the
people who need them. This includes fund-raising, buying supplies, pouring
and firing the ceramic angels, painting angels, handling the requests,
packing angels, and shipping angels to the recipients . When she has the
time, Linda makes beautiful, aromatic soaps and candles that she shares with
family and friends. She believes her greatest accomplishments are receiving
Jesus as her Lord and Savior and starting Angels Of Destiny. Linda is a
member of Church On The Rock - North in Beaumont, TX Her favorite scripture
is "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Birthday October 1st
Mary
Mary came to Angels Of Destiny in May 2004 and she has been a blessing ever
since. She is always willing to give of her time for The Lord. Mrs. Mary is
known for her sweet-spirit, dedicated heart and loving nature. She has been
married to her husband Sam for 50 years. She and her husband are Senior
Saints Pastors at The Church On The Rock North. She has three children,
eight grandchildren and two great grand children. Her most special treasures
are studying God's word, reading and spending time with her family.
Birthday December 20th
Renee'
Renee' is the angel who designed our new website for us. Renee' put many
hours of love into the ministry of Angels Of Destiny. Due to chronic illness
she can no longer maintain it. She has passed her duties to Chad. Renee'
lives in Port Neches, TX with her husband, James, their son, Daniel, and
their 2 cats, "Meesha" and "Rocky". She also has a son, David, who is
serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Antietam.
Birthday August 11th
Rhonda
Rhonda lives near Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. She started painting ceramics
as a hobby and turned it into a business called Country Creations. Rhonda
loves to paint angels for Angels of Destiny. She is a long distance
volunteer. She paints the angels in Minnesota and then mails them back to
Angels of Destiny in Southeast Texas. She is the mother of four grown
children and the grandmother of four. She also believes that "The greatest
achievements are those that benefit others."
Birthday July 15th
Shirley
Shirley was married to the late William, for 25 years. She's a lifelong
member of West Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she works with the children
and senior citizens ministries. She's retried form McDonald Douglas in Los
Angels, CA. as an Accountant Clerk. Shirley is the 7th of 13 siblings, she's
also the sister to former County Commissioner Ed Moore. Her hobbies are
sewing, painting, reading, puzzles and doing things for the sick and
shut-ins. Favorite scripture: But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men
it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

Birthday December 27th
Teri
Teri has served the Lord since her teenage years. She attends Triumph Church
in Nederland, TX and sings in the church choir. She has been with Angels Of
Destiny since the inception. Linda calls her a "Faithful Friend". Her
favorite colors are purple, green and blue. She is a collector "Garfield"
and "I Love Lucy" memorabilia. Teri also serve on the board of AOD as
Treasurer. Her favorite scripture is "Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be
not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help
thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Birthday April 7th
Thelma
Thelma feeds and helps people in need, even though she is not wealthy. She
is a sweet lady who has become an adopted "Mom" to many. Thelma is a
volunteer with Angels Of Destiny, as well as one of our dedicated sponsors.
She is also Linda's (founder of Angels Of Destiny) mother. She lives in
Beaumont, TX.Thelma has 6 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Now retired, she enjoys sewing in her free time. She is a member of
Southside Assembly Of God in Beaumont, TX. Thelma believes her greatest
accomplishments are helping other people and giving her life to Jesus. Her
favorite scripture is "I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens
me." Philippians 4:13
